I know there hasn't been any traffic here for quite some time. Hopefully
the early members of this list are still subscribed and listening in.

I've revisited the issue of heritability for the CCD CopyWrite license
after some time away from it. I think I may actually end up creating
two or three separate licenses, all with CopyWrite in the name.
The name CCD CopyWrite will continue to apply to a license with strong
heritability characteristics.
I would then create a license that has weak heritability in the style of
the BSD license. At the moment, the working title I have in mind is
"Freiheit CopyWrite". Freiheit is German for "freedom" or "liberty".
There might be some middle ground license forthcoming as well. I don't
know what I would call it, in part because my current notion of what
compromises should exist between the two extremes is a little fuzzy.
Any comments, including license feature requests and license name
suggestions, are welcome.

They always say that when life gives you lemons you should make lemonade.
I always wonder -- isn't the lemonade going to suck if life doesn't give
you any sugar?
