[CCD] copyfree

I'm sure you all recall the previous discussion about the term "copyfree"
and the idea of registering the domain name. The current (very
rudimentary) version of the website is at http://copyfree.org and,
obviously, in need of a little TLC. I'll try to get it at least somewhat
more presentable in the near future, amongs the rest of the things I'm
doing these days.

I bring it up because I'm considering creating a Copyfree mailing list
for the purpose of discussing issues of copyright and patent law,
licensing, ethics of "intellectual property", economics of copyright, and
so on. I've done some Google searching on the subject and haven't found
any likely existing mailing lists -- the vast majority of related lists
are all business coalition lists, academic "cyber law" lists, and
regional "Free Culture" lists (which are, of course, mostly Lawrence
Lessig cult/fanclub lists). Opinions on the usefulness of such a list,
personal interest in participation there, and whether it might be
redundant because I missed or misjudged some existing discussion venue
are welcome.
